_Representative matters handled by our practice include:

  • Our client fled from a foreign country, which is a signatory of the Hague Convention of 25 October 1980 on the Civil Aspects of International Child Abduction and returned to New York with her child to escape from an abusive marriage.  We successfully obtained sole child custody and child support for our client, and protected her separate assets and family business.  The parties successful reached an agreement providing the father with visitation and access to the child.
  • In a divorce action, our client remained in New York for the benefits of the marriage after her work assignment was concluded.  We successfully assisted our client to relocate back to her home country with her children, without bearing prohibitive visitation expenses or any harsh terms.  We successfully obtained green card for our client. She can freely travel and work in two countries for the benefits of her children and their father.
  • Appeared and testified in a state court as Chinese law expert in a child custody and visitation proceeding.
